A graduate of Simon Fraser University, Jinhee was working at Black Press National Sales team, specializing in GIS (Geographic Information Science) and target marketing. One friday evening in 2007, she attended a chamber music concert and had a life-changing experience. After listening to the live performance of Mozart, she fell in love with classical music and string instruments. Ever since, her passion for music grew continuously. Soon she felt that she didn't have enough time to learn and enjoy the classical music if she had to work full time in the office as a business woman. Without any hesitation, she quit her job and decided to change her career to something music related, but without knowing what exactly she would become.
Three years after following her dream, Jinhee became an entrepreneur in concert production and music business management. She is now a founder and producer of the classical concert series, Moment Musicale, which features local and touring artists. Jinhee also runs Music at Midweek concert series at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and produces a variety of benefit concerts and educational concerts in the Greater Vancouver area.
As a musician, Jinhee is a violist and a founding member of Arioso Strings. Her quintet performs regularly at the Vancouver Art Gallery "Out for Lunch" concert series. She often plays in the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, and the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra.
Jinhee enjoys her life as a performer and concert producer. Since her life-changing experience, Jinhee has become a strong advocate for the power of music, believing that it can transform the lives of many more people, not just her own.
